By using Essay Coach, you agree to these Terms. If using this for a school, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Essay Coach is a coaching-first platform. It is designed to support the writing process. It is not an automated essay-generation tool and is not intended to replace student thinking.

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful educational purposes.
• Not misrepresent authorship of submitted work.
• Institutional Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with your specific school or university policies regarding AI and academic honesty.
• System Integrity: You may not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to extract data or content from the Service.

• Assistive Only: AI outputs are suggestions, not authoritative facts.
• User Responsibility: Users remain responsible for reviewing, verifying, and applying any suggestions. Essay Coach is not liable for errors in AI-generated feedback.

• Student Ownership: Users retain full ownership of the content they submit.
• Limited License: You grant Essay Coach a limited license to process and store your content solely to provide the Service (for example, displaying your revision history). We do not claim ownership of student work.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is."
• We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, grades, or assessment results.
• We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on AI-assisted suggestions.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
